Happy St. Patrick’s Day Cheers!

One of my February blog entries, Yo-Ho, Yo-Ho! A Popeye’s Beer For Me, is currently being featured at Bento.com in their Brews News: Beer Talk section (Issue #108 – Spring 2012). My personal thanks to Nevitt Reagan and Bryan Harrell for making it happen. Cheers!

Cheers, too, to everyone at this weekend’s Snow Monkey Beer Live in Nagano! Here’s a cool YouTube video from AFRA and GEBO featuring DJ NAO-K:

Nippon Craft Beer Festival 2012

The Nippon Craft Beer Festival is exactly two months away, and now with several changes! A new website, new location, and new advanced ticket T-shirt offering. (I’ve heard from event organizers that this is only the beginning of bigger and better things!)

Essentially, the Nippon Craft Beer Festival and the Tokyo Real Ale Festival have been merged into one event to be held on Sunday, the 8th of April, at Akiba Square in Akihabara, Tokyo.

Tickets aren’t available yet, but they will be soon (online orders and at select craft beer bars); be sure to check out their website for details: http://www.craftbeerfestival.org

Also, a last call and reminder regarding next Sunday’s Advanced Brewing Homebrewers Meeting in Asagaya, Tokyo. This month’s get together is going to be packed! So come on out and meet both Western and Japanese homebrewers and their beers! I’ll be there, hope you will, too.
